What to enter
Use the available-space number shown by the operating system, not the drive's marketed total capacity. Enter official installation or storage requirements where possible. Leave an optional game field empty instead of guessing.
Why reserve update space
Games may need temporary working room to download, unpack, verify, or replace files. The selected percentage is only a planning allowance; some launchers and patches may require more or less.
GB and GiB can look different
Drive manufacturers and many storefronts use decimal gigabytes, while operating systems may present binary units or label them differently. Use the GB to GiB converter when comparing numbers from different sources.
Privacy
The calculation runs locally. Drive capacity and installation sizes are not submitted to GameKitly.
