Deadlock is a third-person game built on Source 2. Controller support is standard for Steam first-party Valve titles.
Steam-level full controller support is standard for Source 2 titles. Deadlock supports Xbox, PlayStation, and generic XInput gamepads through Steam Input.
Xbox One / Series, DualShock 4, DualSense via Steam Input, Switch Pro, and generic XInput pads work out of the box. Steam Input allows extensive remapping.
PC players primarily use keyboard and mouse. The third-person camera and ability targeting are designed for mouse aim, so keyboard and mouse remain the recommended input.
