Deadlock / Hero Shooter
Deadlock / Playtest
Deadlock is in active development on Steam. Access is by invitation. There is no public demo or open beta at the time of writing.
Deadlock is currently distributed through Steam as an actively developed build. Steam lists the game with restricted access; you can add it to your wishlist and watch for invites. Valve has not published an open sign-up process.
Adding Deadlock to your Steam wishlist is the official notification channel. When Valve opens access further (closed beta → open beta → 1.0 release), Steam will email wishlisted users.
There is no public demo build of Deadlock. The Steam build is the active development build; no separate demo branch has been released.
An open beta or full release date has not been announced. We will update this page within 24 hours if Valve confirms one.

This page separates confirmed facts from Not yet announced gaps. Deadlock pages do not estimate or invent values — they wait for an official source. See the GameKitly editorial policy for the full standard.
