Valve ships Deadlock as a single Steam package with 30 GB of SSD space required. There is no separate hard-disk install path; the Source 2 engine assumes SSD-class streaming bandwidth.
Online-only hero shooters typically ship small-to-medium patches every 1-2 weeks during active development. Reserve an additional 10 GB of free SSD space for hotfixes and seasonal updates.
