Deadlock / Hero Shooter
Deadlock / PC specs
The official Steam listing for Deadlock lists two PC tiers. This page records every official number and what each tier actually targets.
| Tier | OS | CPU | GPU | RAM | Storage | DirectX |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum | Windows 10 64-bit | i5-6600 / Ryzen 3 1300X | GTX 1050 Ti / RX 560 | 8 GB | 30 GB SSD | Version 11 |
| Recommended | Windows 10/11 64-bit | i7-8700 / Ryzen 5 3600 | GTX 1660 Super / RX 590 | 16 GB | 30 GB SSD | Version 12 |
Valve positions the minimum tier at older, broadly available hardware so most PCs from the last 6 years can run the game. The recommended tier targets 1080p at 60 FPS with higher frame-rate stability in team fights.
The Steam listing shows 30 GB SSD at both tiers. Deadlock is shipped as an online-only game; offline play is not supported.
Minimum tier targets DirectX 11. Recommended tier targets DirectX 12. DirectX 12 enables better multi-threading on CPU, which matters in 6v6 team fights where many AI-controlled units and abilities are processed each frame.
