Deadlock / Hero Shooter
Deadlock / Download time
Estimated download time for Deadlock on Steam, using the confirmed 30 GB SSD footprint.
| Bandwidth | Approx. download time |
|---|---|
| 50 Mbps | ~1 h 20 min |
| 100 Mbps | ~40 min |
| 200 Mbps | ~20 min |
| 500 Mbps | ~8 min |
| 1 Gbps fiber | ~4 min |
Figures assume the Steam CDN is healthy and your local network has no other bandwidth contention. The first 30 GB download is the largest one; subsequent patches are typically 1-10 GB.
Since Deadlock is an actively developed online title rather than a one-time launch, there is no traditional "pre-load window". Updates publish as soon as Valve rolls them out and Steam auto-downloads in the background.
